Doughty Steel & Machine (DSM) has been a trusted name in fabrication since 1935, when Melvin Doughty opened a blacksmith shop in Eckert, Colorado. What started with plow shear sharpening has grown into a full-service manufacturing facility located in Delta, Colorado.
While our operation has expanded, we remain committed to the same values that began with our founder: personalized service and an unwavering dedication to quality.
Today, DSM offers a full range of fabrication services, utilizing state-of-the-art technology including CAD programs, CNC lasers, computerized press brakes, CNC lathes, mills, and a full powder coating line to produce both small and large quantity runs with precision and efficiency. Our team includes AWS certified welders and highly experienced professionals who ensure each project meets the highest standards.
